Storing Data On Persistent Drives
Store & access data in sync with AI and mounted in computers.
TaskLift provides Drives that allow AI to work with files. Consider following scenarios:
- AI may store the results in files instead of or aside to outputting them in a chat, and then you may browse and download these files at any time & from any device
- You may upload files such as documents or articles, and then AI chat or assistant may access & use them in order to fulfill further queries or tasks
- AI may generate complete HTML pages or websites and provide you with a private link so you can preview them or with a public link so you can share them with anyone
- AI may use a Computer tool with an attached drive in order to perform arbitrary, complex operations using files on the drive e.g. by calling command line or code interpreter
In order to get started with drives, navigate to the Tools section and create a new Drive tool.
From that point on, you may:
- check out its capabilities - via the Capabilities tab on its page
- browse, upload & manage files on it - via the Files tab on its page
- pick it for chats and assistants just like any other tool - via the Tools selector
- attach it to computer - by editing the computer and picking the drive in the Tools section
